Show tech File transfer from Nexus 5000
The show tech file in Nexus is quite larger than traditional
routers or switches. Sometimes the file size is 25-50MB, use of TFTP may not
work very well .It is better to use ftp/sftp as the file transfer protocol.
Create
show tech file in bootflash
show
tech-support > tech_support_filename
Copy the file to ftp /sftp server
copy bootflash:tech_support_filename ftp:
Enter vrf (If no input, current vrf 'default'
is considered): vrf name
Enter hostname for the ftp server:ip address of ftp server
Enter username: username
Password: password

Successfully **
