These errors are caused by the firewall, the sip server accepts the registration and return traffic
traffic is blocked at the firewall. Please do the following changes at the firewall.
For example, Netgear, under advanced, WAN setup, put a check mark on disable SIP ALG
Port forwarding 5060
You need to enable ports tcp/udp 5060 to all networks.
This can be indicative of a wrong password in the phone or a something interfering with the application layer regarding SIP.
ReplyDeleteNetgear SIP ALGs need to be turned off, SonicWalls need the SIP Header transformation disabled, Cisco ASA & PIX need the sip fixup protocol etc.
It is pretty vast as far as devices that are SIP aware and modify the traffic causing some of the issues with registration of phones.
